A Free Printable to Make that Note to Teacher Easier!
One of the things I’ve been terrible at this school year is remembering the essential notes to my kids’ teachers. You know: the notes required when your child has been absent or was late or will have an appointment. I’m always forgetting notes after absences or scrambling for a tablet and pen as we’re all getting our shoes on to leave for school in the morning.
So I thought the holiday break and new year were a perfect time to restock and reorganize our homework station and include an easy note to teacher form, too.
Restocking School Supplies & Designing a Note to Teacher Printable
Paper Mate is always a great brand when it comes to office and school supplies. I grabbed some mechanical pencils
because if we use regular pencils the kids are constantly sharpening them. I also got some of my favorite rubber gum erasers
. And I grabbed a set of colorful felt tip Paper Mate Flair pens
just for fun!
Before I let the kids get their hands on our new school supplies, I used them to do some doodling for a Note to Teacher Printable.
Apples are always perfect for teachers, right? I sketched a bunch of different styles of apples with a new mechanical pencil.
Then I used the fine point black marker to trace over my sketches and erased the pencil lines with my magic rub eraser.
I settled on using the apple with the friendly worm for my Note to Teacher Printable. So I used colored pencils to add some color to it then scanned it and touched it up online before using it in my Note to Teacher design.
A Free Printable Fill-In-The-Blank Note to Teacher

They have options to just check off and spaces to fill in to make communication with the teachers so much easier. Want to print some, too?
