This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, so I thought I would bring back (and dust off) an oldie but goodie teacher gift post from the B-Inspired Mama archives…
We made this simple teacher appreciation gift for Sawyer’s Kindergarten teacher and teacher’s aide at the end of last school year.
It’s perfect for teacher appreciation week or as a thank you gift at the end of a busy school year.
I made it super simple for you to throw together with a free printable tag, too…

“Thanks for Making Us Smarties” Teacher Appreciation Gift
Supplies Needed:
- clear plastic tumbler
- ribbon
- Lifesavers Hard Candies

It’s so simple to put together.
Just find a cute clear reusable plastic lidded cup (or even a basket or another cute container would work!) and fill it with Smarties and Lifesavers
candy.
Then cut out the tag, punch a hole in a corner, and attach it to the cup with a pretty ribbon.
Now you’re all set to thank your teacher!

I love giving teachers gifts that we have made or put together. This is another one I am going to use this year. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for this idea! I’ve been trying to figure out a cute gift for my daughter’s teacher that wouldn’t just end up in a drawer. I added a wallet sized picture on the back of the printable tag and had my daughter sign it. It looks awesome and I never would have thought of it on my own!

Thanks for this! I just realised it was the last day of classes for Nursery School and I needed a gift fast! I already had the cups so all I had to do was print your awesome gift tag and within minutes I was done. This was great. I plan to repeat this for a few more teachers.
