Fun Finds Friday – Let’s Fill That Easter Basket!
Here are my top picks for a fun-filled Easter basket in case you still have shopping to do, too.
20 Fun Finds for a Fun-Filled Easter Basket
Kids Card Games & Card Holders – Card games are the perfect small size to fit lots of fun into an Easter basket! My top picks for kids card games include this adorable fish shaped Go Fish game and this Slamwich card game. Don’t forget to get some card holders to help those little hands hold their playing cards, too!
Fun Fidget Toys – My sensory-seeking kids LOVE little fidget toys. They’re the perfect size for Easter baskets and then to keep in my purse for when we need a distraction while we’re out and about. Project Sensory has a Fidget Fix Kit that’s perfect!
New Swimsuits – It’s a family tradition that my kids get their new swimsuits for the year in their Easter baskets. We don’t do bikinis in our family, but we do love a two-piece tankini for easier bathroom breaks; check out this adorable red polka dot one! And these plaid trunks are seriously cute for any little guy.
Silly Socks – Socks are another necessity that are small enough to work perfectly in an Easter basket. I love silly or colorful ones like these little girls’ Mix and Match Socks and these boys’ Car Themed Socks.
Spring-Themed Puppets – Puppets are perfect small toys to stock an Easter basket with fun and imagination. Pick out some spring-themed ones like this Eric Carle Butterfly Puppet or this Honey Bee Hand Puppet.
Gardening Tools & Seeds – Easter is the perfect time to make sure the kids’ have what they need for their Spring gardening! This 5-Piece Garden Tool Set has everything they need except the seeds. Pick up some seed packets to throw in their basket from the local hardware store!
Outdoor Art Supplies – Encourage creativity OUTSIDE this Spring by including some outdoor art supplies in the kids’ Easter baskets. Consider this Neon Sidewalk Chalk Paint or these Washable Window Markers.
Simple Outdoor Toys & Games – It can be hard to find outdoor games and toys that fit in an Easter basket. But I’ve tracked some down that would be perfect! Consider stuffing their baskets with a Play Parachute, some Activity Cones, or these fun Monster Feet.
Easter Children’s Books – Easter-themed children’s books are an Easter basket necessity! Some of my favorite Easter books include this Easter Crack-Ups joke book, this Easter Bugs pop-up book, and The Berenstain Bears and The Easter Story.
