What’s better on a cold winter day – maybe after school or on a snow day? – than a warm sweet snack? Hot cocoa isn’t as exciting for the kids by January as it was at the beginning of the Winter season. So when I was invited by Minute® Ready to Serve Rice to come up with an easy winter recipe, I thought it would be fun to make something warm and sweet! And I got the kids in the kitchen to help put a creative spin on it, too.

This couldn’t be easier for kids to help make! Just microwave the Minute® Ready to Serve Rice according to the package directions.
Stir together the Minute® Ready to Serve Rice, the vanilla pudding, and the cinnamon.
Separate your rice pudding into two bowls of graduated sizes (these ones work perfectly!), and have the kids use raisins and a sliver of dried apricot to transform their rice pudding snack into a cute snowman!
