An Easy 5 Ingredient Dinner Recipe!

I’ve discovered a new trick to making another easy dinner… The Good Table® from General Mills.  I found the new restaurant-style sauce and crust mixes near the breadcrumbs in the grocery section of my local Walmart.  They are perfect for jazzing up your protein choice for dinner.  Here’s how I adapted the The Good Table® Southwest Tortilla sauce and crust mix to make this super easy pork taco boat dinner recipe…

Bake in the oven for 25 – 30 minutes or until pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit.  Let pork rest a few minutes before thinly slicing.

Add some lettuce or salad to your tortilla boats.  Top with yummy crusted pork strips and fresh salsa.  Enjoy!

More About  The Good Table®…

I loved how easy The Good Table® mix made this yummy dinner recipe.  It came with a coating sauce, which kept the pork chops moist and juicy, and the tortilla crust mix that added flavor and crunch.  The package says that this Southwest Tortilla kit was intended for chicken, but I’m glad I experimented with pork, because it turned out great!

The Good Table® mixes come in four other restaurant-inspired flavors, too: Parmesan & Herb, Thai Peanut for Chicken, and Lemon & Herb for fish. I’m thinking the Parmesan & Herb mix would be another good one to try with pork, don’t you think?  And we don’t eat much fish here, so I think I’ll use the Lemon & Herb with chicken.  If you want to give them a try, check near the breadcrumbs in the grocery section of your local Walmart.
