My kids’ love sensory play.
Actually, they crave it. Running their fingers through a sensory bin or feeling different textures captivates and calms them.
So when we opened our new box of Bunchems and felt those little squishy balls, they were hooked.
And when I saw the creative play that resulted from their new Bunchems Alive, I was thrilled, too!
(Psst… Before creating with Bunchems, make sure your child’s hair is pulled back away from her face. And for the best Bunchems experience, play on hard surfaces to avoid entanglement on any fibrous surfaces, such as carpets. See Bunchems’ video for more safety tips.)
Encouraging Creative Play with Bunchems
Those little colorful Bunchems balls are so cool for creating squishy sculptures. They stick to each other so easily and stay stuck for creative play, too. But they also pull apart easily, so your kiddos creations can be re-imagined and rebuilt over and over.
Plus, they have these cool attachments – like wings and eyes and hats and more – to help kids with their creations. The Bunchems sets came with easy instructions to make various animals and critters, but my kids seemed to want to create all on their own.
And new Bunchems Alive takes kids’ creativity to a whole other level. It brings their creations to life!
The motorized Stick’em Ball allows kids to build right onto it, then set it down and watch it move around. My kids loved seeing their creations wiggle and move around the floor.
Check out Sawyer’s critter – inspired by his favorite Youtuber, from what he tells me. (Who are these Youtube stars, anyway?!)
And check out my science-buff Sawyer’s earth and moon creation!
They weren’t awarded the 2016 Toy of the Year Award for Activities for nothing!
