    Thanks for sharing such an amazing list of ideas for summers. Summer is my favorite time when I spent full time with the kids because it is so much less hectic than the school year. I love mixing my free time with fun activities.

    I know. It gets really frustrating when they succumb to summer slide 🙂 That’s why I make the effort to consult with their teachers about the specific lessons I have to help them retain even during vacation!

    As a teacher, the summer slide is VERY REAL. So much time gets spent at the start of the year just reviewing the previous year’s materials. This is a great list of activities.
