Shamrock Name Game

Shamrock Name Game at B-InspiredMama.com

I made this simple St. Patrick’s Day Name Game for Priscilla the other day.  So EASY!  I just wrote each letter of her name on a pre-cut foam shamrock (found at the dollar store) and clipped a green paper clip to each one.  Then I traced 9 shamrocks on a large sheet of paper and wrote a letter of her name in each one.

She used a magnetic fishing pole (from another fishing game we have) to catch each shamrock and match it up to the shamrock letters on the paper.  Of course she could have just matched them up without the fishing part.  But the fishing made it so much more fun for her.  You could make this easy name learning game with lots of other foam shapes and themes, too.

Have you done any shamrock activities for St. Patrick’s Day?
