Easy Nugget & Tot Kabobs for Kids
Save-A-Lot invited me to do my Super Bowl party shopping at my local Save-A-Lot store, which I was happy to do since they had everything I needed in one spot and at up to 40% lower prices than conventional grocery stores.
And no need to worry about the cost of this added kids’ snack since it only requires 4 ingredients!
- 1 package frozen chicken nuggets
- 1 package frozen potato puffs (or “tots”)
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup mustard
- 12 bamboo skewers
This is honestly too easy for “steps”. You simply prepare your nuggets and tots according to package directions. (I find baking them best.) Allow to cool to the touch before making the kabobs.
Then, slide the cooked nuggets and tots onto bamboo skewers. Older kids might like to help with this step, but make sure to supervise so they don’t hurt themselves with the skewer. Oh, and you can also use kitchen scissors to cut the point off the skewers once the nuggets and tots are on.
That’s it! Serve them alongside some ketchup and mustard for dipping, and the kids will have the perfect game day snack.
