Kids in the Kitchen – Meatball Biscuit Bites
- Mama Mancini’s Meatballs and Slow Cooked Italian Sauce (either Beef, Chicken, Pork, or Turkey – any of them work!)
- refrigerated biscuit dough
- shredded mozzarella cheese
- nonstick cooking spray
Spray a muffin pan liberally with cooking spray. Take a refrigerated biscuit round and separate it into two layers. Press each layer into a muffin tin. Repeat until all muffin tins are full.
Place one meatball (no need to preheat!) with a little sauce in each biscuit lined muffin tin.
Sprinkle meatball biscuits with shredded mozzarella cheese and pop in the oven for about 15 minutes. Let cool and ENJOY!
Sawyer and Priscilla LOVED these for their after school snack. And I loved that they were getting some good protein, too.
More About Mama Manicini’s:
At the age of 15, Dan Mancini asked his grandmother, Anna Mancini, to teach him how to make his favorite meal: meatballs and sauce. And in 2007, Dan built his company around bringing that favorite family meal right to our tables, too! Mama Mancini’s Meatballs and Slow Cooked Italian Sauce are made using Grandma Mancini’s simple recipes with all natural ingredients. 100% beef, whole fresh eggs, Romano cheese, onion, parsley, a pinch of salt and pepper and an exact amount of breadcrumbs come together to make the hand-formed meatballs. And the delicious Slow Cooked Italian Sauce is made with Italian plum tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper and a bay leaf and then is slowly cooked for three hours. No need to go through the four hour process ourselves; we can get them in the freezer or deli section of our local Walmart and have them ready in 20 minutes! Want to try Mama Mancini’s?
