Kids Easter Craft

Twig Nest Easter Craft at B-InspiredMama.com
I’ve been wanting to make this Twig Nest with the little ones since our Letter N week.  But rain and sickness held us off until now.  Which works out, because it’ makes a perfect Easter craft, too!
Supplies for the Twig Nest Easter Craft at B-InspiredMama.com

Twig Nest Centerpiece Easter Craft

 Supplies:
  • twigs and sticks we gathered from the yard (tweeting and flapping wings like a bird while doing so!)
  • a round grapevine wreath (We found ours at Hobby Lobby.)
  • various feathers (The kids only wanted to use brown ones, but you could be colorful, too.)
  • bird embellishments

We just took our twigs and wove and tucked then in and among the wreath.  This was a bit harder for the kids than expected, so I helped lots.  The feathers and birds were easiest for them to add.

Finally we placed the birdies on by twisting their wire around the twigs.  Added our Easter eggs.  And placed it on a vintage plastic doily and tray I had in storage.  Now I just can’t wait to see what it looks like with our dyed Easter eggs in it!
