A Simple Pasta Recipe Perfect for School Nights!
Now that the kids are back to school and we have more of an evening routine, I’m trying to get our family dinnertime back in order. So I was super excited when I was invited to try out the new Barilla® Pronto™ for a quick #OnePanPronto pasta recipe. And I was pleasantly surprised by how easy and quick it was to use. It will definitely be a school night dinner staple in our house. Here’s the super simple Three Ingredient, One-Pot Broccoli Cheese Pasta I came up with…

3 Ingredient, One-Pot Broccoli Cheese Pasta Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 box Barilla® Pronto™ Rotini Pasta from your local Kroger
- 1 package frozen broccoli florets
- 1 can condensed cheese soup
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Steps:
Place entire box of uncooked pasta in a 12″ skillet. Add frozen broccoli and three cups of cold water (or enough cold water to cover pasta).
Put the lid, turn the heat to medium, set the timer to 10 minutes, and let dinner cook itself! No pre-boiling required!
When the timer goes off, check the pasta; it should be done! If not, just give it a couple more minutes. Then drain most of the water if there is any left, and stir in the cheese soup.
Sprinkle with some shredded cheddar cheese and serve as a vegetarian meal or a yummy side dish.

I’m so excited about this Pronto™ pasta. One pan, no boil, no drain; such a time saver for this busy mama! But it still has the same great flavor and texture I’ve always loved from Barilla®. And I’m so excited about all of the recipe possibilities, too. Just think of how you can customize it with different sauces, seasonings, vegetables and proteins!
