These sweet Easter bunny pretzel treats are really yummy and so easy for little ones to help with. Here are the details…
Easter Bunny Pretzel Treats
Ingredients:
- Mini pretzels
- Stick pretzels
- Hershey’s Caramel Kisses
- Pastel M&Ms
- Food Coloring Pens (not pictured)
Directions:
- Place mini pretzels a few inches apart on a foil lined baking pan.
- Unwrap the kisses and place them on the mini pretzels.
- Bake at 300 degrees Fahrenheit until chocolate melts slightly.
- While they are in the oven, break the pretzel sticks in half.
- Create ears by placing two pretzel stick halves into each melted chocolate kiss. (Be careful of hot pan!)
- Press 3 M&Ms into each chocolate kiss to create eyes and nose (with M&M markings facing down into the chocolate).
- Use a dark food coloring writer pen to make small dots in the center of each M&M eye.
- Place in the freezer until chocolate sets.
These make a perfect spring or Easter party treat. And you can spend quality time with the kids while you make them!

Very cute idea. I am going to let my 3 year old make them for her preschool class this week. Where can you buy the food color pens? Just came across your blog today!
Tracy, we bought ours at the regular grocery store. They were in the aisle with the other food coloring and baking supplies. But I'm sure you could also get them at a craft store like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Let me know how you make out!

After 40 mins in the oven, I have yet to get the kiss to melt. Kids are now not interested in the project and have eaten most of the M&Ms.
Time for melting chocolate chips in a double boiler.
Cute idea but kisses aren't made to melt easily. That's why they go into the center of cookies.
Oh no, I'm sorry you had trouble! Ours melted fine.
My 7 year old was looking at these with me and said, “mom we can use Nutella”….how much easier than unwrapping and baking the kisses? I bet they will taste just as good too:)
