Turn Ranch Dip into a Silly Vegetable Snack!
My kids are weird. They’re picky eaters; They won’t eat many cooked vegetables, but they love raw vegetables. Especially bell peppers and broccoli. I know it’s unusual, but I’ll take what I can get! Needless to say, we have lots of vegetables for snacks here at our house. So when Hidden Valley® sent us their new Greek Yogurt Dips Mix to try, I knew it would be a big hit. Here’s how I prepped the kids simple ranch dip and vegetable snack to make it more fun…
Crazy Hair Man Vegetable Snack for Kids
- 1.5 cups plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1 packet Hidden Valley® Greek Yogurt Dips Mix
- bell peppers – cut into strips
- baby carrots
- broccoli – cut into florets
The Hidden Valley® Greek Yogurt Dips Mix makes this ranch dip super simple. Just pour the packet of seasonings right into a 1.5 cup container of plain nonfat Greek yogurt and mix. Yummy ranch dip with higher protein and less calories than classic ranch dip!*
(*Compared to Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Dips Mix prepared with sour cream.)
To make your Crazy Hair Man, put some of your ranch dip into a small bowl in the center of a large plate or platter. Then add two small slices of baby carrots for eyes, pepper slices and a baby carrots for lips, and lots of vegetables for crazy hair. I bet the kids would love to help arrange the crazy vegetable hair on this simple vegetable snack, too!
