A Kids Flower Craft Perfect for Spring!

Here’s a quick and easy Spring flower craft that makes beautiful blooms…

Kids Paint Chip Flower Craft from The Usual Mayhem at B-InspiredMama.com

Kids Paint Chip Flower Craft

Supplies:

  • paint chips in pretty colors
  • pipe cleaners
  • scissors

Take a paint chip…a rectangle works best. Cut it in thin “fringes” most of the way down, so that it looks like a comb when you’re done.

Now roll it up tightly, white side out. Add a pipe cleaner to the bottom and twist tightly.

Flip it over and spread out the “petals.” Now make a bunch more!

You can experiment with cutting the paint chips in different ways, too, to make different flowers.

I love this simple flower craft from Erin.  It would be fun for any Spring day or even as a simple gift for Mom or Grandma for Mother’s Day.  Do you have a flower craft to share?  Leave a link in the comments to show us!

Lately I’ve spent a lot of time in Loews when doing some home renovation. Each time I look at all those paint chips and I think “there’s gotta be something to do with those pieces”. This idea is only a start
