Great ideas. Hair accessories are a favorite of mine because when my daughter was younger she was forever getting mistaken for a boy, so putting a little band around her head with a flower on it was always the best way of avoiding it! They are so easy to make, too.

Thank you for a really inspiring list of gifts, I think i may give the DIY baby mobile a go for my next baby shower that I attend. I like the idea of hanging different map places of each family member. That way once baby is old enough the mobile can be framed and kept as a picture for the wall.

I’d love to see some cute DIY patterns for accessories, flower and bows to use with girlie glue. i’m not crazy about the headbands. They always look uncomfortable and slide off but the glue will hold them on all day.. I usually just stick a cute flower or bow on her head which I love, but I’d ;love some new ideas! Help me out! Thanks!

Could also do nursing or feeding covers for breast feeding mums. I bought one for $50 and made one for a similar price but more experienced sewers would prob need less upfront costs cos already prepared 😉

Oh wow thanks for this compiled list! I love making blankets and burp rags and giving clothes that are a few sizes too big(we sometimes forget babies grow) and my friends love it, they tell me so and s finally fits in the clothes you gave me!
    Thanks again!

You're very welcome! I was happy to compile it for myself to have all of these resources in one spot, too. I know exactly what you mean about the larger sized baby clothes. My little guy is starting to get into 6 month sizes and we didn't get a lot in the larger sizes as gifts. I think people just love to buy those really itty bitties!
