Our New Virtual Pet
My family thinks that I hate pets. And honestly, I’m not so fond of them since becoming a mom. I just cannot imagine caring for any more living beings right now. I have my hands full with just my kids, my partner, and myself. But a cute, furry creature that only comes to life when I turn an app on and slide my iPhone in? Now that’s a “pet” I can handle. And one my kids love, too!
As soon as my kids saw the bright orange fur of their new Ubooly, they just had to touch him. And the fun round shape just begs to be held by little hands. I downloaded the free app and slid my phone in and our Ubooly came to life. My kids were hooked!
They love the silly jokes and stories that Ubooly tells them. And we’ve never heard the same thing twice since the app updates every month. I expected lots of fighting over him, but they seem just mesmerized and more calm when Ubooly is interacting with them. They snuggle up on the couch and listen, giggle, and talk.
The only downside is that I do lose my phone for awhile. But it’s worth the trade-off for keeping the kids busy and happy while I get dinner made or dishes done. Ubooly is great at entertaining the kids during their long car rides to their dads every other weekend, too.
Here’s the lowdown on Ubooly…
Moms are some of the most savvy mobile users and so are their kids. Ubooly is a toy designed for this new high-tech generation. While learning and sharing new content every week, Ubooly is the only toy that grows with your child. It encourages listening skills, and a break from high-energy / high-stimulation play. Through stories & interactive games, Ubooly’s curiosity is sure to awaken the creativity within your child’s imagination.
Ubooly is the hot toy of the season, it’s new to the scene and is on track to sell out this winter! Free updates through Wi-Fi creates ongoing entertainment for kids.
