A Simple Foil Packet Recipe for Turkey Fajitas!
With Memorial Day and Summer just around the corner, that means outdoor grilling and camping season is up ahead, too! We’re always looking for easy recipes – with few ingredients, little to no dishes – that we can cook on the grill or over a fire while we’re camping. And foil packet recipes are perfect for that! So when I was invited by Shady Brook Farms to make a try out their fresh turkey cutlets, I knew they’d be perfect and moist cooked up in a foil packet recipe. Here’s the embarrassingly super simple Turkey Fajitas Foil Packet Recipe (almost too simple to be called a “recipe”!) I created…

Simple Turkey Fajitas Foil Packet Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 Shady Brook Farms Turkey Breast Cutlets – cut into bite sized pieces
- 2 – 3 bell peppers – cut into strips
- 1 onion – cut into strips
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- a few dabs of butter
- aluminum foil – Yay!
- soft tortillas – for serving
Steps:
This foil packet recipe is almost too simple for steps! Just lay out some strips of foil (I put mine into a cross as pictured below).
Place your turkey in the center of the foil and sprinkle with half of the taco seasoning.
Top the turkey with your peppers and onions and sprinkle with rest of the taco seasoning and dabs of butter.
That’s it! Wrap the foil up tight and toss the foil packet on the grill! (Or in a 400° oven for 45 minutes or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees fahrenheit.)
Open up the foil packet and stir it around to make sure the seasoning hits everything. Then serve on soft tortillas for yummy turkey fajitas. (With NO dirty pans or dishes!)
