When Do You Find Your Me Time, Mama?
Some days it’s so hard to find ANY “me time.” And the most I can ask for is a nice cuppa coffee. It warms my tummy, clears my mind, brightens my eyes, and distracts me for just a few seconds from the craziness that is my mama life. And I don’t think I’m the only mom that relies on this caffeinated beverage to get through her mama days. Here’s what the B-Inspired Bloggers have to say about their love affair with coffee, too…
Moms Talk Me Time with Maxwell House Café Collection® Coffee
Coffee & Computer Time – “My morning starts with coffee. Always. Without fail. (Usually while I quickly check emails and social media.) Then I’m ready to start my day!” Tonya of The Crafty Mummy
A Spiritual Time – “5:15 alarm clock gets me up and my first task for the day is turning the coffee maker on. While it is brewing I do a couple small chores. Then, a splash of creamer in my coffee mug that makes me feel romantic (I have no idea why, my husband hates coffee), and I am off to spend an hour or so studying my Bible. Two refills later I am ready for the day.” Leah of Simple. Home. Blessings.
Getting Up BEFORE the Kids – “I like to get up an hour before my kids wake to have a nice cup of coffee by myself. It’s a great way to reflect and gather my thoughts before I begin my day. Once those little feet hit the ground, it’s tough to sit and enjoy a cup before it gets cold.” Amanda of Dirt and Boogers
Memories of Grandpa – “Growing up with a Cuban grandfather we started drink coffee con lecha very young. So now as an adult I still love a little coffee with my milk and sugar.” Jaime of Frogs & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails
Coffee in Bed – “I have a wonderful husband who brings me coffee in bed every single morning (I’ve never been a morning person). Every day I look forward to sitting up and having my coffee right there to help me wake up.” Dawn of Prickly Mom
Coffee’s His Love Language – “I believe my husband’s love language is making people coffee. He brings me a cup each morning…in an ‘I love my husband’ mug while he drinks his from ‘I love my wife.’ Warms my heart and tummy.” Allison of The House of Hendrix
A Coffee Date WITH the Kids – “My older son started half-day preschool a year before my younger one, so my little guy kept me company while I had coffee at the bookstore. As he grew into a toddler, he’d sit across from me at the cafe and we’d split a scone while I drank my coffee. We’d sit and have little conversations even before he could talk. These coffee dates with my little one are already some of my most cherished memories.” Dawn of Prickly Mom
Don’t Forget the Iced Coffee, Too! – “I like making iced coffee – brew coffee double strength using your favorite method and pour over a glass full to the brim with ice. Add organic sugar and organic sweetened condensed milk – yum!” Carissa of Creative Green Living
