Preschool Valentine Craft
I know moms and teachers love to do cute crafts with kids. Crafts that look perfect and adorable. The kids love them, too. They love feeling “successful” in making something look like the example. But it’s so important to allow our kids some open-ended creative time, too. Valentines day is the perfect time to set out some fun arts and craft supplies for an open-ended preschool Valentine craft.
Preschool Valentine Craft Station
I set up a preschool Valentine Craft Station for my Priscilla this morning with everything needed for open-ended creative Valentine making. I included rhinestones, googly eyes, ribbon, crayons, cut out paper hearts, stickers, and glue with a q-tip. Priscilla’s been hard at work all morning making Valentines for everyone she loves most: Mi-Mi, Pop-Pop, Cliff, Sawyer, etc… I’m crossing my fingers that I will get one, too!
Do you offer art and craft supplies to your kids for open-ended creative time? What are your child’s favorite supplies?
