Use washable paint to paint rainbow stripes on child's hand, from the base of the palm to the tip of each finger in the order of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).
While paint is still wet, press painted hand down onto the top half of a piece of white construction paper. Allow to dry.
Unwrap 4-5 chocolate gold coin and use washable school glue to attach the foil wrappers at the base of the handprint on the construction paper, overlapping them a bit. (Eat the chocolate!)
Use scissors to cut a circular pot shape out of black construction paper and glue it at the base of the gold coin wrappers, overlapping them a bit.
Use a white paint pen to write "Happy St. Patrick's Day!" on the pot of gold.
Notes
This rainbow handprint craft would be fun to do with a group of preschoolers at a St. Patrick's Day party or playdate!
