Last week, the kids and I headed to the mall for the HUGE Local Library Book Sale. I ended up dropping the kids off at the Play Space to play while I searched the book sale. They love it there (especially bouncing on the mini trampoline and playing in the giant rice “sand box”), and I got an hour to hunt for book treasure! I went with vintage books for my shop and craft projects in mind, but ended up with these great finds that I can use in my preschool homeschooling adventures. Along with a bunch of vintage books for my Etsy shop, too! SCORE!
We’re going to be starting our homeschooling this week with activities centered around the letter “S.” I’ll share more about our plans as the week goes on, but I’ve already found a few of these thrifted books, especially the Picture Dictionaries and Vintage Finger Play Books, are great resources for “SNOW” activities. Check it out…
I highly recommend checking out your local thrift shops and library book sales, BUT if you really want any either of the two above (or the books I gave my little ones for Valentine’s Day), you can get them here.
Do you ever use vintage or thrifted books with your little ones?
