If you know me at all, you know that I’m ADDICTED to sugar! I have been for as long as I can remember. I feel completely out of control around it. I battle with it EVERY day.
I had Gestational diabetes while pregnant with Priscilla which makes me far more likely to develop Type 2. The diabetic diet during my pregnancy limited carbohydrates and pretty much eliminated sugar. And I lost weight while on it – even while pregnant! So lately, I’ve been trying The Belly Fat Cure
(by Jorge Cruise) which is very similar to my previous diabetic diet. When I stay on track, I lose. I mean, like 3 to 5 pounds per week! It’s staying on track that’s the hard part…
But I’ve noticed that if I put the healthier (lower carb in my case) foods in view and accessible, that’s what I will eat. So I’ve taken inspiration from my little one’s Muffin Tin Meals and started making myself Muffin Tin Snacks! I usually fill my muffin tin with sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts, cinnamon roasted almonds, turkey pepperoni, bell peppers, and cheddar cheese. And I love it!!!
Happy to be linking to Muffin Tin Monday.

The edge is less likely to bend, so it will stay sharper for
longer. Each knife is manufactured by a different world-class Japanese knifemaker and the prices
generally run from $120 to $170. Perhaps, two people work
together in the kitchen, so you need duplicates of certain knives.

Great idea! I'm a sugar junkie too and just recently (a weeks ago) decided it was time to give up soda. I really need to cut back on carbs in other areas though – I'm a bread junkie as well.

What a great idea! I am currently using SparkPeople.com in an effort to watch my food intake and lose weight. But, I find that I almost always fall short on protein. I really should make myself a little protein snack tin to nosh on. Thanks for the tip.
