VintageWoods Vintage Children’s Books Giveaway

And I’m so excited to announce that our featured Giveaway for Kids today is from Sarah of VintageWoods.  Here’s Sarah to tell you more about VintageWoods…

“My name is Sarah Woods and I am the owner of the quirky little Etsy Children’s Book Shop, VintageWoods. I live in Chicago and absolutely love finding adorable old books for your purchasing pleasure. My favorites are the odd, quirky and unusual titles! It’s like a little treasure hunt adventure!

I started my shop in April of 2011. The shop first started out as a random bunch of vintage items. Although my sales were pretty good, I noticed that a huge portion of sales were coming from the ‘Vintage Children’s Books’ section of my shop. After 1 year of having my shop open as a vintage goods shop I decided to switch my inventory over to Vintage Children’s Books (20+ years old) only. Business has been booming and I am excited to announce that we are in the process of launching our own website www.vintagekidsbooks.com.  We hope to be fully functional and up and running within the next month.

I have always had a tremendous love for Children’s books, they are so fun to flip through. Some of my personal childhood favorites were ‘Danny the Dinosaur’ and ‘Little Rabbit.’  My favorite part of selling vintage children’s books is being able to sell books to people who want to pick up a copy of a book they loved as a child to give to their own children. A huge portion of my sales also are adults picking up a copy of a book that their mother or grandmother used to read to them as a child as a sentimental gift. For me it’s really fun to put smiles on people’s faces and bring back memories from their childhood. Someday I hope that my Etsy shop might turn into a full time job for me. My ultimate goal is to own my own website and have thousands of children’s books available for people to purchase. But for the time being, owning a shop is a little side hobby for me to have in my free time. ..and I absolutely love it!”

Sarah has offered an awesome prize pack of 10 Vintage Children’s Books for giveaway!  Find tons of ways to enter to win here…
