Welcome to the First Free Printables for Kids Friday!
There’s some new and exciting stuff goin’ on around here … I’m so excited to announce that today marks the start of a new monthly series featuring Alex Toys’ awesome Free Printables for Kids! (Did you know that Alex Toys has a blog full of fun kids activities and ideas?) The first week of each month, I will be showing you some of the fun we’ve been having with the free printable kids activities and crafts from Alex Toys. Check out this month’s fun…
Paper Bag Owl Puppet Printable for Kids
This paper bag owl puppet craft was the perfect activity to keep Priscilla busy while Sawyer was working on his homework. And with all of the fun colorful feathers to cut out, it was perfect cutting and fine motor skill practice for her, too.
My favorite part was that when she was all done with the craft, she had a cute owl puppet to encourage imaginative play, too. So cute!

Funny Monster Face Printable for Kids
Sawyer wasn’t about to let Priscilla have all of the fun, so when he was done with his homework he started in on this fun monster face activity. After cutting out all of the silly face features, he played for nearly 30 minutes with making different crazy monster faces.
I think I’m going to laminate all of the pieces to this one to make a fun game that we can use over and over again!

I love the owl puppet. My son’s class is the owls this year and we’ve been reading tons of awesome owl books– like Owl Babies and Owl Moon. This will be a great follow up activity! Thanks!
