Kids Sewing with a Spring Flower!
My sidekick loves to sew, but we’re in the middle of selling our house and moving and I don’t always have the time right now to sit beside him while he uses a needle. So I came up with a solution that satisfied us both; a simple kids sewing project using foam and ribbon!

DIY Kids Sewing Flower with Foam & Ribbon
First, I printed a flower template (I used this one but a quick Google search will turn up tons of them for you to choose from) and cut it out of craft foam. Then, I got out my hole punch and punched holes all the way around the edges. I also made a circle for the middle of the flower and punched holes around that, too.
Then I got some gift wrap ribbon out of my stash and let him “sew” while I packed some more boxes.
