Christmas Handprint Wreaths can be made by one child or as part of a group project – whether that group be a classroom or a family.
I used my six daycare kids’ hands to make our Handprint Wreath, but you could also add in your own and your partner’s hands if you’re making a Family Handprint Christmas Wreath.

And, as a bit of a bonus, being flat and made of paper, the finished Handprint Christmas Wreath travels and stores really well, so it would be a wonderful little homemade Christmas gift to send to grandparents or family out of town.
It’s so easy to make, but you may have to help little ones trace and cut out all of their paper handprints. Older children can get lots of fine motor skill practice tracing by cutting out their own.
This handprint wreath craft only requires a glue stick to adhere the paper handprints and berries to the paper plate “wreath,” so even little ones will love doing that on their own.
Then, when your Christmas Handprint Wreath is complete, you can punch a hole in the top and add string for hanging. Or use tape to hang it up on the wall.
Such a sweet Christmas keepsake to get out each holiday season!
