A LEGO Inspired Kids Christmas Craft!
We are such a LEGO-loving family. As I speak type, there are LEGO® DUPLO® pieces scattered across the living room and tiny classic LEGO pieces strewn on my oldest sons’ floor. We play LEGOs every. day. But today – we did a Christmas craft with them, too! Check it out…

An Easy Christmas Tree Kids Christmas Craft Using LEGO DUPLO
We love crafting with our LEGOs. We did some simple stamping on paper picture frames at Sawyer’s LEGO Birthday Party a couple years ago, and the kids loved it! So for Christmas, I thought we could use the LEGO DUPLOs square and rectangle shapes to stamp a Christmas tree. Here’s what we used…
Supplies:
- LEGO DUPLO bricks (We used one 2X2 square and one 2X4 rectangle.)
- big stamp pads or some paint spread on a paper plate
- construction paper
- scissors
- school glue or glue stick
First we used the square and rectangle shapes on the bottom of the LEGOs to stamp a Christmas tree onto white paper.
Then we use the little circles on the top of the LEGOs to stamp “ornaments” on the tree.
Finally, we stamped the top of the square LEGO brick onto some yellow paper and cut around it to make a star for the top of our tree. And we cut a square out of brown construction paper to make a tree trunk.
Glued all of the pieces on a piece of green paper and we had our easy-peasy kids Christmas craft ALL DONE!
Are your kids LEGO DUPLO fans, too? Have you ever used them in a kids craft? Tell us about it in the comments below!
