The glitter idea for teaching about the spread of germs is so clever! I know my kids will have fun learning with that idea-and recognize the importance of hand washing. Purell is a staple in our lives-diaper bag and car are where we keep it.

Great tips, I used to carry a bottle of hand santizer in my son’s diaper bag. I am not sure what happened to it. I also make sure that I have wipes too. They are perfect for cleaning up little hands, cleaning up small spills/messes, and sanitizing yucky tables/changing tables/ect.
