Bath Activities for Toddlers that Won’t Irritate their Skin
Both of my boys have extra sensitive skin. One application of the wrong sun lotion or bath with the wrong cleanser, and they end up with painful, itchy Eczema in the creases of their elbows and knees. Ever since they were babies, it’s been a challenge to find bath products that won’t irritate their skin and flair up their Eczema. Even bath products designed and labelled for “babies” rarely work. We’ve discovered that looking beyond typical “baby” products helps, and we’ve found the Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar to be a great choice. (Scroll on down to learn more about the Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar!) But their sensitive skin and Eczema often limits the fun bath activities we can do, too. I’m often hesitant to try fun bath activities – such as fizzing bath bombs or homemade bath paints – that include potentially harsh chemicals or products we haven’t tested yet. So – inspired by B-Inspired Mama partner, Dove – I’ve rounded up some bath activities for toddler who struggle with sensitive skin. Fun bath activities that don’t include harsh ingredients and that shouldn’t irritate their skin. Let’s check ’em out…
15 Fun Bath Activities for Toddlers Who Have Sensitive Skin

Try the Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar in your Toddler’s Bath!
When it comes to bathtime for your toddler (or any aged child – baby through adolescent!) with delicate skin, choosing the right skincare products is so important.
I’ve learned the hard way that soap strips the skin of its essential nutrients, therefore often irritating it. But Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar is not a soap and is even proven to be more gentle and mild than soap.
In fact, it’s the #1 Dermatologist and Pediatrician recommended bar. Here’s why:
- it contains DEFI technology – a unique blend of mild cleansers & 1/4 moisturizing cream
- it’s dye-free
- contains skin natural lipids that help replenish the skin
- it’s gentle enough for infants (as young as 2 months of age) and children with eczema
So if you’re on the hunt for a bath product suitable for your toddler’s sensitive skin, give the Dove Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar a try. It’s available at drugstores nationwide.
And make bathtime more fun with one of the sensitive skin-friendly bath activities for toddlers above!
