Get the Kids in the Kitchen to Make This Yummy Treat!
We were recently sent some new “Aussie-Style” Yulu Yogurt to try. We’ve never had Aussie Style yogurt, so I was honestly a little nervous. But we were VERY impressed with it’s double smoothed texture and extra creamy flavor. No sour taste like many Greek yogurts. And with lots of protein and real, honest ingredients, I’ll feel good about serving Yulu Yogurt for kids snacks and incorporating it into our recipes. In fact, we used it already in a “kids in the kitchen recipe” for Strawberry Yogurt Pops. Check it out…
Kids in the Kitchen – Strawberry Yogurt Pops
Ingredients:
- Vanilla Bean Yulu Yogurt
- fresh strawberries
- sprinkles and/or crystal sugar (optional)
- straws or popsicle sticks
- parchment or waxed paper on a baking sheet
Steps:
First, clean and hull your strawberries. Then add a straw or popsicle stick to each.
Next, dip a strawberry into the Yulu Yogurt, sprinkle with some sprinkles or crystal sugar, and lay on the paper-covered baking sheet.
Repeat until all strawberries are dipped and on the baking sheet. Then pop in the entire baking sheet in the freezer for a few hours. When they’re all frozen, you’ve got a yummy, cool strawberry treat – that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day by the way!
