Make a Healthy & Fun Butterfly Snack!
It’s no secret that I have to pull out all the stops, trying all the tips and tricks I can find, to get my picky eaters to try new foods and eat healthy. From watching fun movies about food to setting up a fun taste test, I’ve done it all. But what seems to be easiest and work the best is just making the food look fun. And what’s more fun (especially to my Priscilla) than a butterfly snack made of colorful vegetables and yummy Heluva Good! Greek Style Yogurt Dip?!
A Vegetable Butterfly Snack with Heluva Good! Greek Style Yogurt Dip
We were recently sent all four flavors of the new Heluva Good! Greek Style Yogurt Dip to try. All for flavors were yummy: Fire Roasted Vegetables, Southwestern Chipotle, French Onion, and Herb Ranch. Cliff loved the bolder flavors for dipping his chips, but I stuck with the milder French Onion flavor for making the kids’ fun vegetable butterfly snack. They’re so much more willing to eat their veggies when they have a yummy dip like this with them. I just added a big dollop of dip to a plate and then used some cut up tomato, red bell pepper, and cucumber in a whimsical butterfly shape.
So using the Heluva Good! Greek Style Yogurt Dip helped keep the veggie shapes together on the plate AND made them taste even yummier to the kids. Plus it’s pretty low in calories, too, so I have no problem letting them have it every day if it helps them get more vegetables in. I bet it would also be great spread on a sandwich, too. Maybe it would actually get my kids to eat turkey sandwiches..? Hmmm… How would you use Heluva Good!’s new Greek Style Yogurt Dips? Do you think your kiddos would like it?
