Earth Day is coming up!  And it’s the perfect time to reflect on how we celebrate and nurture the Earth with our kids everyday.  I thought we could all use some new ideas (From the Mouths of Moms) for celebrating Earth Day for kids…

1. Start Young
“Starting at an early age we are working on teaching our children about the earth and how to love and protect it. 2. Talk About It!

3. Make April “Earth Month”

4. Plan A Weekly Environmental Service Project
“We have a service project, at least weekly, that focuses on being good stewards of our environment. We are finishing up a month long project to clean litter out of a creek that runs by the elementary school. We make sure and recycle the litter that is collected.
