Colorful Frame Tape Craft [Plus Art Print Review & Giveaway

Rainbow Tape Frame DIY 4

I was so excited when I received this awesome alphabet print from Kindy Garden!  (Scroll to the bottom to enter to win a print of your own!)  The playful little girl with her pinwheel reminds me so much of my Priscilla and will look so perfect in her colorful room.  I thought it needed a fun and colorful frame, too.  So I grabbed some electrical tape and an inexpensive frame and went to work.

Picture Frame Tape Craft

Rainbow Tape Frame DIY 1

What you’ll need…

  • inexpensive or thrifted picture frame
  • electrical tape in fun colors
  • scissors

Rainbow Tape Frame DIY 2

This is so easy, you can even get the kids to help or make their own!  Just cut the tape into small strips.  You can see how I cut mine up and stuck it to the table ahead of time.

Then wrap your tape strips around the front of the frame, folding them over the back edges.  Overlap the tape strips just a tad to not allow any of the frame to show from underneath.  Add the glass back in, the print or photo, and the backing, and you’re done.  Easy peasy and really colorful and fun.
