Too Good to Sell: Vintage Boy Decor

I thought I’d start a little series showing you some of the vintage and thrifting finds that I just can’t part with. I usually purchase them for the shop and then they find a certain place in my home and just fit in so perfect that I can’t bare to list them for sale.
A couple of weeks ago, I found this bedside table at a Saturday sale. I knew right away that it was perfect for my son’s room. It makes a perfect perch for his navy blue and red wooden lamp that I found at a grungy thrift store about a year ago. And it was only $12. Cliff thought I could have gotten them to come down on the price, but being that it was so perfect for what I wanted it for, I didn’t mind paying that at all.

Such sweet finds! Just perfect for a little boys room.
Some of my favorite thrifty finds lately that I've kept for my decor is some brass figurines that I found. It started with these really cool brass bird bookends and the latest is a brass elephant. I don't think I have too much room for more but whenever I see brass figurines I tend to want to pick them up!

@MissShapes: I just saw a bunch of brass cats at the thrift the other day. They were priced just a bit high for me, though. But I did look twice!
